Getting to the Hotel

Limo bus stop to Ikebukuro

  • past Customs Inspection, through the doors to Airport Limousine Bus service desk (know which Airport Limousine Bus you need to take)
  • buy your one way ticket to destination (know which bus BEFORE you leave for Tokyo)
  • go outside and wait at assigned stop
  • bus ride is about 2 hours
  • check in to hotel around dinner time

On the bus… only two more hours to go (if traffic is good)

You could “go on the cheap” and take public transit to your destination, but you’ll likely be knackered from the flight, or hyper or just not wanting to drag your luggage on the trains.

Limo bus receipt/ticket

¥3,000 (approx $30) for a limo bus is a fine deal! Just after you leave the Japan entry point in the airport, you’ll walk straight ahead to the lovely people selling tickets for the Airport Limousine.

Buses leave every hour with every half hour during peak times. It’s about 2 hours on the bus… in slow moving traffic. BUT, you have a comfortable ride and a great view on the way in.
