Needed to create you a bit of word to finally say thank you as before considering the pretty views you've shown above. This is really pretty generous with you to offer freely what a few individuals might have supplied as an e book to end up making some money for themselves, especially considering that you might well have done it if you considered necessary. These techniques additionally acted to be the great way to be certain that the rest have the same zeal just like my personal own to understand a little more around this condition. I am certain there are many more pleasurable opportunities ahead for individuals who go through your site.

Follow up: Just spent a week over in Tokyo and found your guide very useful.

This is a great link on tips on using your debit/credit card abroad.
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/travel/cheap-travel-money

Post office ATM i found to be the best place to withdraw, withdraw limit was the same as my UK bank. I got a pretty damn good exchange rate, pretty much spot on with XE.com. The only downside with my Debit card was a £3.44 ATM charge on a 30,000 yen withdraw (about £233ish).

<a href="#comment-43" rel="nofollow">@Guy Culmer </a>

Hi, Guy. I take over CDN$3,000 - CDN$5,000 (but exchanged in Yen) in cash. The only way to retrieve money from a machine is at a 7-11 (not a bank), and even then I think the rates for exchange via your credit card are brutal. But you cannot access your bank accounts over there.

So take cash.

Good to know. Out of interest how much money did you take over in cash? Is it easy to take out large sums of money from cash machines or not?

<a href="#comment-24" rel="nofollow">@Captain Obvious </a>
Thank you. Yes, I'll be happy to return and talk more about actually BEING in Japan rather than the preparation. While the preparation is very important, I think I spell it out fairly well on this website.

To answer your question, yes, the water is safe to drink. In fact, I don't know what they do to their water, but my hair and skin is never so healthy and feels so good as it does as when I'm in Japan.

They are hygiene freaks, so I'm very appreciative of that.

Feel free to ask any other questions! Cheers.

Just wanted to let you know that your pannel was very informative (I'm very glad there is a website to go with it, because there is no way I would be able to absorb that much information in one sitting hehe...). Some things I would have liked to know more about would have been maybe some other things to do in Japan other then shopping (I suppose that is a little off topic though...), and a random question that I has would be: is the tap water clean to drink there?
Thank you very much, I hope you come back to AE next year (hopefully without having to recover from an injury..)!

Thank you so much for your kind words. I would be delighted to return but would like to spend more time discussing a few things rather than giving such a brief overview. If you have any ideas as to what you think is most important, please let me know! Cheers.
